This allows faster heat rejection: heated oil comes directly into contact with primary cooling surface. Minimal oil pressure drop. Cross Path Airflow Forces air to travel above carrier heating and cooling system and below each fin, following a longer path through cooler. This allows more efficient transfer of heat to air.
